SP#6: Unit K Cpnxept 10: writing repeatinf decimals as a rational number using geometric series

Make sure that when solving this problem, you remeber the correct way to use summation notation. Also, remember what the infinite geometric series equation is. Lastly, remember that this is an infinite series, not a finite.

Sp#5:Unit J Concept 6: Partial Fraction Decomposition with repeated factors

This concept is a bit different from concept 5. There will be repeating factors. For repeated factors, count uo the powers and include the factor as many times as the exponent. Don't forget the negatives and make sure to combine like terms correctly.

Sp#4:Unit J Concept 5: Partial Decomposition with Distinct Factors

Make sure you do not forget any negatives. Also, don't forget to combine oike terms correctly. Lastly, also multiply correctly because it may get confusing.

Sp#3: Unit I Concept 1: Graphing Exponential Functions And Identifying x-intercept, y-intercept, asymptopes, domain, and range

For this equation, play close attention to the signs as it will help determine the range as well as fhr asymptope. Also, dont forget that for the asymptope, y=k. Lastly, pay attention to how you solve for the x- and y-intercepts. These are the things you will have to pay close attention to. Good Luck!

SP #2: Unit E Concept 7: Graphing Polynomials

This equation will display how to graph a polynomial and how to graph it. In order to graph the polynomial, you need to factor the equation and determine the end behavior to get an idea of which way the graph goes.  Also, finding the y-intercept, minimum and maximum will help to graph a more accurate graph.
Make sure to pay attention to the multiplicity of the zeroes because they will determine whether the graph will go through the x-axis, bounce off the x-axis,  or curve onto the x-axis. Also be sure you have the correct zeroes as well as the correct amount of zeroes.

SP#1: Unit E Concept 1: Identifying x-intercepts, y-intercepts, vertex, axis of quadratics and graphing them.


This problem will display an equation and and will display how to factor it and turn the factored answer into a parent graph. Also, once you have the parent graph equation, you find the vertex, y-intercept, and axis. To find the vertex, you look at the h and k of the parent graph equation. To find the y-intercept, set all the x's of the parent graph equation to zero then solve. To find the axis, look at the h of the equation and that will be your answer. Lastly, to find the x-intercept(s), you solve the factored equation-not the parent graph equation- and you will end up with two answers. Those answers will be your x-intercept(s).

Be sure to pay attention to which equation is which; in this case be sure to tell which is the factored equation and which is the parent graph equation. Also, remember that the parent graph equation is f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k. Lastly, remember that if you square root a positive, the outcome will have a +- result.
